Men, when you visit a place of worship or a place of religious significance, whether as believers or as guests, always show respect for others and their beliefs as well as for yourself. Do this by following the unstated dress code and not dressing below it.
While this can be difficult, as no church or temple has the same requirements, a safe guide is to wear clothing that covers the body, is respectful in nature, and is culturally acceptable. This rule works even though requirements may vary not only from religion to religion, but even country to country.

You can play it safe by pairing yourbusiness suit with a white or conservative men’s business shirt, a conservative tie, and well-polished dress shoes.
Because some religions do require men to cover their heads, you might want to consider adding a hat or other appropriate headwear to your ensemble to complete the look.
If you do add a hat, observe proper hat etiquette as well as any religious requirements of the establishment you are visiting.
If you choose not to wear a suit, consider wearing a blazer or sport coat to add an air of formality to a casual outfit. Remember, you can always ditch it later if you find out you are a trifle overdressed for the services.
